Senior Baseball returns

The six-team United Rentals Senior Baseball League launched its sixth season on Wednesday night with a pair of games. In the season opener the Carte Blanche Rotarians rolled over the Astorville Lumberkings 10-0.

In the season opener the Carte Blanche Rotarians rolled over the Astorville Lumberkings 10-0. Pitcher Terry Seguin got the win for the Rotarians who were led offensively by Dave Saad with three hits and Tom Conrad with a two-run triple.

In the other Wednesday contest Rock Langevin drove in four runs as Assante edged H.E. Brown Supply 6-5.
