Senior Baseball in Sturgeon Falls

The fields were closed in North Bay, so the North Bay Senior Baseball League moved some of its games to Sturgeon Falls on Sunday. The Assante Lumberkings downed Cecil's Bar & Eatery 12-6.
The fields were closed in North Bay, so the North Bay Senior Baseball League moved some of its games to Sturgeon Falls on Sunday. The Assante Lumberkings downed Cecil's Bar & Eatery 12-6. Brian Moore picked up the win, with Ken Pagan leading the way with the bats as he went 3-4 with 2 RBI's. Moore and Tim Lowe each had two hits and a 2 RBI's.

Kevin Reid and Marcel Maisonneuve each had two hits for Cecil's.

Two games on tap tonight (weather permitting) with Assante taking on Boston Pizza at 6:30 p.m. and Sturgeon Falls meeting Blanchefield Roofing at 8:45 p.m.

Both games are scheduled for Veterans Field, however if the fields in North Bay are closed, the games will be moved to Sturgeon Falls. Team members are asked to contact their player reps for information.
