Safe and Fun Hockey Jamboree

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA), in collaboration with True North Chevrolet and Hockey Canada, will be hosting a Chevrolet Safe & Fun Jamboree on Sunday, November 25th, 2007 at the West Ferris Arena in North Bay.
The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA), in collaboration with True North Chevrolet and Hockey Canada, will be hosting a Chevrolet Safe & Fun Jamboree on Sunday, November 25th, 2007 at the West Ferris Arena in North Bay.

The one-day event, which is proudly supported by North Bay’s True North Chevrolet, is open to all players aged 5-8 in the NOHA. The day will begin at 1:00 p.m. at West Ferris Arena as 160 local players will participate in on-ice and off-ice games promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, hockey fundamentals and other valuable lessons that can be used on and off the ice.

Players will also have the opportunity to enter a draw and win the chance to attend a future Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey Festival and meet one or more of the Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey ambassadors which include NHL greats Bobby Orr and Mike Bossy, as well as Olympic Gold medalist and Hockey Night in Canada reporter Cassie Campbell.

Parents will also be invited to take part in the Chevrolet Safe & Fun Hockey “A Parent’s Approach” seminar to be conducted by one of the NOHA’s course conductors.
