More than two hundred youngsters in the Near North District School Board participated in the Cross Country Running Championships at the cross country track near E.T. Carmichael on Wednesday morning.
More than 150 boys in grades four to eight ran through the 2.5 kilometre track and then that was followed up by a girls race.
The weather was perfect for running as it seemed more like an early summer run than a run taking part in mid to late October.
