Chris Hebert lead the Royals with a pair of goals other goals went to Niko Tonello and Rylan Gull-Chum.

Islander goals came from Jason Chevrier(2), Cody Cousineau and Brandon Ominika.

Jim Murray faced 58 shots and earned the victory while Max Bouffard took the loss facing 36 Royals shots on goal.

The Royals continue their road trip saturday when they face the Blind River Beavers.
