Royals hammer Moose

Even though Moose season has been closed for quite a while in the Temiscaming area, that didn't stop the Royals from doing some Moose hunting of their own down in Thornhill on Saturday night. The Royals, who were down another player - Chris Hebert who injured himself friday night in the loss to Innisfil - still had a lot of fight left in their tanks as they blasted the Toronto Canada Moose 11-4.

It was a rare triple hat trick night for Corey Raymond, Guillaume Brisebois and newcomer Maxime Gauthier. Singles went to Sebastien Poirier and Stephane Gunner. Cedric Boutin had 4 assists, Felix Gilbert pitched in with 3 of his own, while Marc Desgagne and Alex Brazeau each added 2 assists.

The Moose got goals from Brad Crouse, Nick Leggieri, Joel Gattoni and Gianmarco Aiella.

Guillaume Piche collected the win in goal.

The Royals will play 2 more home games before the holiday break. On Friday, December 21st they play against the Deseronto Storm and on Sunday, December 23rd against the Nipissing Alouettes.
