The Royals got 2 goals from Michael Sauvageau, who is back in the line-up since an injury in a pre-season game. Sauvageau also added a couple of helpers for a 4 point night. Other goal scorers were Sebany Guimond, Alex Brazeau each with a pair and Chris Hebert added a goal and 2 helpers. Felix Gilbert chipped in with 2 assists.

Game 2 of the home-and-home series goes Sunday afternoon at the Centre at 2:30 p.m.
