Ring Rockets take home silver

The WFRA Novice Ring Rockets participated in a ringette tournament over the weekend in Sudbury and claimed the silver medal. The team went 2-1-1 in round robin play and advanced to the finals on Sunday morning.


The WFRA Novice Ring Rockets participated in a ringette tournament over the weekend in Sudbury and claimed the silver medal.

The team went 2-1-1 in round robin play and advanced to the finals on Sunday morning.

In the championship finals the Ring Rockets fought hard against a Timmins team, but fell by a close score of 6-4.

“Throughout the weekend the entire team played with tremendous sportsmanship and enthusiasm,” coach Terry Ablett expressed of his team.


Members of the Silver winning Ring Rickets include:
Breanna Mirtl, Breanne Maille, Clayton Hill, Erin Ablett, Hannah Manchur, Hayley Lazarou, Hunter Carswell, Julianne Sevigny, Kennedy Thomson, Kristen Collins, Matthew Danihar, and Megan Ablett. Coaches are Rob Carswell, and Terry Ablett. Angie Hill manages the team.
