Peewee Trappers net gold in Verner Bulls Tournament

The North Bay Police Association PeeWee Trappers captured gold in the PeeWee division of the Verner Bulls Tournament in Verner this past weekend. 

The team started the tournament with a closely contested loss to the Verner Bulls.  They rebounded with a pair of wins against Horner Gas Trappers and Miller Technology Trappers.

In the semi-finals, NBPA pulled off a come-from-behind overtime win against Dairy Queen Trappers to secure a berth in the gold medal game.

The championship game was a back and forth, hard fought affair that saw NBPA edge out league rivals, Miller Technology, by a 2-1 score to win the gold. 

The North Bay Police Association team is made up of Ethan Daigle, Noah Desrosiers, Connor Filiatrault, Carter Fletcher, Carson Gagne, Tristan Gilbert, Cedric Laperle, Ryan O'Donnell, Owen Pharand, Hunter Pizzale, Noah Sabourin, Makai Vaillancourt, James Wlodarczyk, coaches Marc Pizzale, Al Filiatrault, Adrien Laperle, Gil Pharand, trainer Patrick Gilbert and manager Paul Daigle.
