Peewee A Blades win NOHA Gold

LITTLE CURRENT, ON - The West Ferris Big Brothers/Sisters Peewee"A" Blades won the NOHA Peewee "B" divison championship this past weekend in Little Current on Manitoulin Island. The team went 2-1 in round robin play.


LITTLE CURRENT, ON - The West Ferris Big Brothers/Sisters Peewee"A" Blades won the NOHA Peewee "B" divison championship this past weekend in Little Current on Manitoulin Island. The team went 2-1 in round robin play. This was followed by a conviencing 7-1 victory in the semi-finals against Cochrane to move on to the finals against a strong Manitoulin team. A goal with 4:34 left in the third period secured a 2-1 victory for the Blades. Stellar goaltending from Colton Point and Griffin Allison along with a strong effort from both the offence and defence propelled the Blades to victory. Congratulations Boy's!
