Pats and Raiders skate to a tie

The Chippewa Raiders battled back from an early 2-0 deficit to earn a 3-3 tie against the visiting Franco-Cité Patriotes on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gardens.

Pat Miron, Michel Dumont and Justin Boutin scored for the Patriotes while Dan Madigan, Nik Priebe and Tory Unger replied for the Raiders. Kyle Darbison added a pair of helpers for the Raiders while André-Michel Larcher and Simon Caron also scored two assists.

Phil Beaudry made 33 saves for the Patriotes while Erik Faucon made 29 stops in the Chippewa goal. The Patriotes are back in action tomorrow as they visit the Scollard Hall Bears. The Raiders are off until Monday when they face the Widdifield Wildcats.
