Patriotes win third straight

The Franco-Cité Patriotes junior football team won for the third time in as many games beating the Chippewa Raiders 23-6 on Monday afternoon in North Bay. Jesse Audette led the Patriotes offence throwing for two touchdowns and running for another.

Jesse Audette led the Patriotes offence throwing for two touchdowns and running for another. Brandon Larivière and Marc-André Séguin caught touchdown passes from Audette. Pascal Séguin added two extra-points, a two-point convert and a touchback.

Stephen Fleury scored the lone touchdown for the Raiders. Up next for the Patriotes is a Thursday afternoon game at West Ferris.

The Raiders host the Algonquin Barons on Saturday.
