Patriotes win inaugural Bomber Bowl

The Franco-Cite Patriotes defeated the Northern Braves 27-12 to win the first ever "Bomber Bowl" trophy which will be awarded annually to the winner of this game between the West Nipissing rivals.

The trophy, donated by Martial Rivet of Sunset Trophies was presented by members of the former Sturgeon Falls Bombers.

Jesse Audette threw and ran for a touchdown for the Pats while Marc-André Séguin caught a touchdown pass.

Brandon Larivière and André Arcand also scored touchdowns for the Patriotes.

Theoren Commanda scored both of the Braves touchdowns - one on a punt return and the other on a kickoff return.
