Patriotes down Raiders

The Franco-Cité Patriotes earned their tenth win of the season on Saturday evening downing the Chippewa Raiders 8-1 at Memorial Gardens. The Pats were paced offensively by Pierre Séguin who scored three goals.
The Franco-Cité Patriotes earned their tenth win of the season on Saturday evening downing the Chippewa Raiders 8-1 at Memorial Gardens. The Pats were paced offensively by Pierre Séguin who scored three goals. Pat Miron and Joey St-Onge each scored two with Paul Guénette rounding out the scoring.

Stéphane Marcoux added three assists while Mathieu Gaudette and Miron each added two. Darren Gravelle had the lone marker for the Raiders.

Pat Beaudry was solid in goal for the Patriotes stopping 24 of the 25 shots he faced. Mitch Thomas took the loss in goal for the Raiders.

The Patriotes are back in action on Thursday as they host the St-Joseph Scollard Hall Bears at the Verner Arena. The Raiders host the Bears on Wednesday night at Memorial Gardens.
