Omischl finishes fifth

North Bay's Steve Omischl finished 5th in a World Cup Freestyle Aerials event in St-Adele, Quebec on Sunday. The top-five finish is still a good enough to keep him on top the World Cup standings.

The top-five finish is still a good enough to keep him on top the World Cup standings.

In two other competitions this season, Omischl finished fifth and first.

Despite the fifth place finish it was still a good day for Canadians as teammates Cord Spero and Ryan Blais finished 1st and 2nd respectively in the Canada Post Grand Prix event.
