It is very simple for the Lakers men’s volleyball team this weekend – win and they are in!
The Lakers will be on the road for a sudden death cross-over playoff game for the right to attend the 2013 OCAA men’s volleyball championship hosted by Sheridan College Feb. 21-23.
The Lakers finished fourth in the OCAA West Division and would normally host a playoff match however the new format which includes an automatic entry for the host has displaced the Lakers to fifth and in turn a road playoff match.
The Lakers will face the Seneca Sting who finished fourth in the OCAA East division with a 16-4 regular season record. This will be the first meeting this season between the Sting and Lakers.
The Game is scheduled for February 17 beginning at 1 pm at Seneca College in the Newnham Campus Gymnasium.
