Novice AA Blades capture NOHA gold

TIMMINS, ON - The Just Sports Major Novice AA Blades captured the gold medal at the NOHA Championships this past weekend in Timmins. The Blades dominated the opposition in 4 games, outscoring them 19-2. In the round robin portion, they defeated the Timmins Prospectors 6-0, the Sudbury Bulldogs 3-0 and the Copper Cliff Redmen 6-1.

In the championship game, Just Sports defeated the hometown Prospectors a second time by a score of 4-1. Mitchell Lafromboise led the Blades to 2 shutouts while the rest of the team played like champions.
