Northern Wolves pull out of NOJHL (new)

The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has run into a problem, one month before the start of the 2004-2005 season.

The Sudbury Northern Wolves, through the Sudbury Minor Hockey Association, have officially requested a one year leave of absence from the league. SMHA President Mike Brunette confirmed the request after the SMHA Board of Directors held a meeting to look at possible alternatives.
