A group af North Bay Physicians showed their community spirit on Sunday by joining the North Bay North Stars on the ice for a pair of exhibition games. Both groups are gearing up for their annual tournaments and the games are a good opportunity to get on the ice for a little extra practice and a lot of fun.

The North Bay Medics led by captain Dr. Terry Rotondo and manager Dr. David Cochrane will be playing in their own Docs on Ice tournament in April in Collingwood. The 28th annual medical tournament is an all Ontario fundrasier with funds being donated to a charity in the host community, the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital foundation will be the recipient of this years donation. The North Stars really appreciate the game practice as they prepare for their own year end tournament in Orangeville.

The docs were pushed to the limit by the well practiced North Stars. The senior game ended in a 3-3 tie and the Physicians came out on top with a close 8-7 win over the junior North Stars.
