North Stars outshine Trappers

Zak LaRue scored twice and added two helpers to lead the Sault Ste. Marie North Stars to a 7-3 victory over the North Bay Trappers on Saturday night at the John Rhodes Community Centre in Sault Ste. Marie.

Mitchell Davis, Nick Huard and Anthony Trozzo scored for the Trappers in the loss.

David Quesnele also scored twice for the North Stars. Tyler Hawdon, Kurtis Travaglini and Luke O'Brien rounded out the scoring for the Stars.

The Trappers are back home next weekend as they host the Kirkland Lake 87's at West Ferris arena next Saturday night.
