A tryout for players born in 1992 or later will take place at RJS Athletic Center at Nipissing University on Sunday, September 27th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. After receiving expressed interest from past club players, the club will try to organize a team to compete against the very best teams in the province throughout the year.
“We are getting the impression that there are some athletes who are interested in playing, so if there is enough interest, the club will provide the opportunity for players in that age group to compete in the Ontario Volleyball Association,” said executive member Grant Ross.
“If athletes cannot make the tryout they should contact us at [email protected] to let us know of their interest.”
Teams normally play four to five OVA tournaments, with the season culminating with open provincial championships in April at Research in Motion Park in Waterloo.
