NDA Jr. Football - Trojans overtake Bears

The West Ferris Trojans defeated the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears 29-14 in NDA junior football action Thursday. The Bears moved the ball behind the powerful running of Jordan Beaudoin as they scored in the opening drive to go ahead 6-0.
The West Ferris Trojans defeated the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears 29-14 in NDA junior football action Thursday. The Bears moved the ball behind the powerful running of Jordan Beaudoin as they scored in the opening drive to go ahead 6-0. Beaudoin added the 2 point conversion. The Trojans responded immediately as rookie slot back Josh Williams ran for an 18 yard sweep. Quarterback Alex Mason found Joey Davis in the endzone to add the 2 point conversion and tie the game at 8.

Another Trojan drive in the first half had the ball on the Bear 2 yard line and Mason kept it himself for the major. Austin Gravelle started the second half with an 83 yard kickoff return and Joey Davis added another 2 point conversion to put the Trojans ahead. Davis
added the last touchdown for the Trojans while Kyle Decosta added the single.

The Bears had a strong scoring drive in the fourth quarter with a touchdown by Steven Fournier.
