NDA Hockey Quarter-finals - Wildcats and Trojans prevail

The Widdifield Wildcats and West Ferris Trojans both won in convincing fashion to sweep their respective best-of-three NDA quarter-final series in two straight at Memorial Gardens Wednesday night.

Sam Barber had 1 goal and 2 assists to lead the Trojans to a 6-0 win over the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears.

Josh Callahan added 1 goal and an assist for the winners while Carter Conlon was in goal for the loss for the Bears.

In the other quarter-final, Pat Rideout and Kieran Peltier had 1 goal and 2 assists each to lead the Widdifield Wildcats to a 7-1 win. Devin Goyer got the win in goal for the Cats.

Tanner Brunet added 1 goal and 1 assist for the Wildcats.

The NDA semi-finals begin on Saturday night when the Barons take on the Wildcats while the Franco Cite Patriotes will clash with the West Ferris Trojans.
