Ricky Guay earned his first shutout of the season and Jean-Philippe Primeau scored his fourth goal in the past 2 games as the Franco-Cité Patriotes topped the Scollard Hall Bears 4-0 on Saturday night at Memorial Gardens.

The Patriotes scored twice in each of the first 2 periods on goals by Primeau, Eric Arcand and Yves Arbour. Guay picked up the win for the Patriotes (2-0-1-0) stopping 25 shots in the victory. Mitchell Rogerson took the loss for the Bears (0-1-0-1). The Bears are back in action on Wednesday night as they host the West Ferris Trojans at Memorial Gardens. The Patriotes host the Trojans on Friday night in Sturgeon Falls. Game time is 8:30 p.m.
