The NDA hockey season will officially conclude on April 10th when the high school hockey league will hold an All-Star game at Memorial Gardens at 6 p.m.
"There will be two 20 minute periods and a skills competition in the middle," said NDA convener John Wilson in an email to BayToday.ca.
"The skills competition will feature hardest shot competition, break away relay competition and a fastest skater competition. Every team will be represented and it should be a great evening," added Wilson who guided the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears to the NDA title this season.
Admission will be $1.00 person to help offset the cost of ice rental and fans are asked to bring something else along to support a very good cause.
"We are also asking everyone who comes to the rink to bring a food item for the North Bay Food Bank and we hope that NDA
hockey can help in some small way in helping others in
the community," said Wilson.
The league is hoping to release the All-Star rosters by April 5th.
