The top seeded Widdifield Wildcats Sr. Girls Volleyball team opened with a 3-0 victory over the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears Thursday. The Wildcats can wrap up the series with a win in the best-of-three series on Friday at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall.
In the other senior girls semi-final, the Chippewa Raiders defeated Franco-Cite 3-1. Game two will take place at Franco-Cite. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
Jr. Girls
In junior girls semi-final action the Widdifield Wildcats defeated Chippewa 3-0. Game 2 takes place at 2:00 p.m. at Chippewa.
In the other junior semi-final, West Ferris beat St. Joseph-Scollard Hall 3-1. They meet again at 3:30 p.m. Friday at West Ferris.
