Two forwards, a defenceman and a goaltender have been named to Team NOHA.

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) in conjunction with the Great North U18 League (GNU18L) announced the 20-player NOHA roster this week, comprised of 2008-born players who will represent Northeastern Ontario at the OHL Cup to be held from March 25-30, 2024, at the Scotiabank Pond in Mississauga.

Team NOHA and its staff assessed the players during the first half of the season and last weekend held an evaluation camp for 40 players at the Powassan Sportsplex where they finalized the 2024 Team NOHA roster.

Forwards Ben Brunton and Cameron Lockhart from the North Bay U18 Trappers were named to the team along with defenceman Aydin Baharie and goaltender Carson Ruddy.

Team NOHA is coached by former North Bay U18 Trappers coach Doug Sanders, and Nipissing Lakers assistant coach Cam Peters.

The entire process is being overseen by Jacob Brown, the NOHA's technical director from North Bay.
