LAREDO, TX - North Bay's Russ Moyer was a hero for the Odessa Jackalopes as he scored the overtime and series winning goal while adding 2 assists in a 4-3 win over the Laredo Bucks in Central Hockey League action Tuesday night.
Russ Moyer's goal came at 5:48 of overtime and set off a wild celebration on the Bucks home ice.
The Jackalopes now move on to the conference finals as they will take on the Texas Brahmas. With the win the Jackalopes defeat the Bucks in a playoff series for the first time in four attempts.
