Midget Trappers doubled by Sons

GARSON, ON - The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers had their 4 game winning streak halted as they were defeated 4-2 at the hands of the Nickel City Sons Saturday afternoon.

Malcolm Bilton and Alex Battistelli had 2 goals each for the Sons. Battistelli's second goal was an empty netter late in the game to seal the win for the GNML's first place club.

Ryan Robertson and Kyle Baril had the goals for the Trappers who fall to 4-2-1 on the season.

The Trappers are back in action Sunday afternoon as they host the Kapuskasing Flyers. Game time is the usual 1:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.
