It was the North Bay and District Midget AAA Trappers that looked like they were on a long bus trip last night as the Timmins Majors bumped off the League leading Trappers 5-4 in Great North Midget League action last night at West Ferris arena.

"The Majors came out strong, the kept it going and basically looked like they wanted it more pluse they won the battles," said Trappers Head Coach Mike Reise.

"They simply took advantage of our sloppy defensive play."

The Trappers made a comeback late the 3rd, only to see the Majors pounce on a giveaway with 90 seconds left.

Scoring for the Majors were Jace Soroko with 2, Carter Renouf , Tristan Flood and Lucas Dolanjski. Bradley Dobson got the win.

Replying for the Trappers were Seth Reuben, Eric Lachance, Robert Ranger & Braeden Villeneuve. Simon Wood took the loss in net for the Trappers

Both teams are back on the ice for game two of three, tonight at, 7:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.

Game 3 goes at 1:20 p.m. Sunday also at West Ferris.
