The West Ferris Hilltop Variety Major Atom 'AA' Blades went undefeated and took home gold at the Steel City Presidents Cup Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. over the past weekend.

The Blades were up against teams from New York state, Ohio and North Carolina but they were no match for the Canadian's from North Bay. Winning the gold during the opening weekend of the Winter Olympics made it extra special for the players, coaches and parents. Tournament MVP was awarded to Ben Garagan.

To make the weekend even more special the team managed to squeeze in a Pittsburgh Penguins game vs. the Nashville Predators on the Sunday afternoon. The players were also able to meet most of the Pittsburgh Penguins players and got several autographs from these NHL stars.
