Lucky 13 Peewee AAA Trappers drop opener to the Flyers

QUEBEC CITY, QC - The North Bay and District Lucky 13 Peewee AAA Trappers dropped their opening game 5-0 at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers in their opening game at the 54th annual Quebec Peewee International Tournament on Monday.
QUEBEC CITY, QC - The North Bay and District Lucky 13 Peewee AAA Trappers dropped their opening game 5-0 at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers in their opening game at the 54th annual Quebec Peewee International Tournament on Monday.

The tournament loss is sandwiched between a pair of exhibition victories.

On Sunday, they defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 4-0.

Gavin Shaw led the way in that contest with 2 goals for the Trappers. Jacob Gravelle and David Dedo added singles in the win.

On Tuesday, the Trappers defeated the local Quebec Remparts team 3-2. Mason McMahon led the way with a pair of goals in the exhibition win.

The Trappers play another exhibition contest on Wednesday as they face a team from Dartmouth.

They are back in tournament play on Thursday as they face the Boston Jr. Eagles.
