Locals shine at NOSSA Tennis

Wildcats win NOSSA banner while Bears tennis ace takes boys singles title

A pair of North Bay schools came home with hardware from the NOSSA Tennis even recently held in Blind River this week.

Emma Shea from Widdifield placed first in ladies singles, while teammates Chris Bowman and Caleb Parfitt placed first in boys doubles.

Wildcats Sarah Irwin and Kyle McDiarmid finished second in mixed doubles.

The Wildcats tennis success gave them the NOSSA banner.

Meantime, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall’s Adrian Catahan took the top spot in the boys singles event.

The winners from both schools qualify for OFSAA which takes place June 4th to 6th at the AVIVA Centre in Toronto.
