Local tennis players come home with NOSSA tennis medals

Three local players will be heading to OFSAA in June

Some local tennis players have come home with some NOSSA hardware recently.  

The 2019 NOSSA Tennis championships were held on Friday May 25 at the Sudbury Indoor Tennis Centre with competitors from the districts of 
North Bay, Sudbury, Algoma and Manitoulin.

Emma Shea, representing Widdifield Secondary School won gold in the girl's singles division and Alexa Robidoux and Malik Bradley representing Ecole secondaire publique Odyssee won silver in the mixed doubles division.

All three will be representing NOSSA at the OFSSA Tennis Championships at the AVIVA Centre in Toronto on June 3, 4, and 5, 
2019.

As well, Shea and Robidoux-Bradley were NDA gold medalists earlier in May. Shea and Bradley are members of the North Bay Granite Tennis Club.
