Local runner heading to Olympics

Taylor Milne finished first in the 1500 Meter final at the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Windsor on the weekend.
Taylor Milne finished first in the 1500 Meter final at the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Windsor on the weekend. The victory means the Callander native will be traveling to Beijing to represent Canada at the Olympics taking place this August.

The 27-year-old former Widdifield Senior Secondary graduate who now lives in Guelph, not only finished first in the 1500 M final, he also broke a Canadian Track and Field Championships record set back in the late 1970’s.
