Let's welcome Anthony

BayToday.ca is excited to welcome Anthony Valade as our newest sports reporter.

The Sault Ste. Marie native is a graduate of the Canadore Radio Broadcasting program in 2003. Valade's broadcasting highlights include doing color commentary and play-by-play for the Halifax Mooseheads QMJHL team during their playoff drive in 2003.

On a local front Valade has been the play-by-play man (TV Cogeco & internet radio) for the North Bay Bulldogs for the past two seasons as well as co-hosting a Sports and Leisure show on Blue Sky Radio.

He also was involved in coordinating internet radio and TV Cogeco broadcasts for the Central Region Midget AAA Championships which were held at Memorial Gardens in the spring of 2006.
