Leckie sets new Youth Cup record

Seven swimmers from the North Bay Y Titans attended the Youth Cup held in Etobicoke this past weekend. This prestigious meet features top ranked swimmers from across Canada.

Jennifer Leckie achieved a new Youth Cup record in the 50 metre breaststroke (34.13) taking home the gold as well as a silver in the 100 metre breaststroke (1:14.45).

She also placed 2nd in her B-Finals for the 200 metre breaststroke (2:50.36).

Bryanna Penno completed 4 B-Finals, placing 2nd in her 50 metre breaststroke (36.02) and 3rd in the 100 metre breaststroke (1:15.14).

First time competitors Nicole Plumb, Angelina Racine, Renee Gagnon, Jeremy Sallie, and veteran Ashley Duquette all achieved personal bests with Jeremy Sallie achieving an A Provincial time in his 100 metre freestyle.
