Last minute Royal comeback

COPPER CLIFF, ON. - Darren Shecapio scored 2 goals in the final 1:30 of play to force overtime and Robin Mendelsohn scored the winner as the Temiscaming Royals fought back to defeat the Sudbury Jr. Wolves 6-5 Wednesday night.
COPPER CLIFF, ON. - Darren Shecapio scored 2 goals in the final 1:30 of play to force overtime and Robin Mendelsohn scored the winner as the Temiscaming Royals fought back to defeat the Sudbury Jr. Wolves 6-5 Wednesday night.

Cedric Boutin, Pierrick Fiset and Stephen McGeary had the other goals in regulation for the Royals (2-2-1). Shane Golden had 3 assists for the Royals while Mendelsohn contributed 2 assists to go along with his game winner.

Chris Kangas had two goals for the Jr. Wolves, including a shorthanded marker that appeared to be an insurance marker with less than 4 minutes to play to make it 5-3 Sudbury.

Joel Gagnon, Justin Lariviere, and Tyler Arps had the other goals for the Jr. Wolves who travel to North Bay Friday night to meet the Jr. Trappers.
