The Lasalle Lancers defeated Essex 2-1 in the final of the 36th Annual NDA Hockey Tournament which took over the ice in North Bay from December 4th to 6th.
Despite a lack of local content in the final, a pair of local NDA squads did make it all the way to the semi-finals.
The West Ferris Trojans were edged 4-3 by Lasalle in one semifinal while the Franco-Cite Patriotes were doubled 6-3 by Essex in the other final four contest.
