Lakers season ends in T.O.

The Nipissing Lakers dropped a 2-1 decision Saturday afternoon to the University of Toronto in OUA quarter-final action. U of T built a 2-0 lead after the first half and Cameron Culbert cut that in half for the Lakers.

The Nipissing Lakers dropped a 2-1 decision Saturday afternoon to the University of Toronto in OUA quarter-final action.

U of T built a 2-0 lead after the first half and Cameron Culbert cut that in half for the Lakers.

The loss ends the season for the surprising Lakers, who snuck into the playoffs thanks to a 3-0 win last weekend against Laurentian and followed that up with a 2-1 shootout win on Wednesday over the University of Guelph.
