The victory was big as the Lakers fell 3-0 to Ryerson on Saturday.

Lady Lakers drop a pair

The Lady Lakers soccer team dropped a pair of games on the weekend as they were beaten 3-1 by Ryerson on Saturday and on Sunday the U of T blanked the Lady Lakers 3-0.

The Lakers fell behind 1-0 at the half and while trying to create more offence the Varsity Blues were able to capitalize and stretch their lead to 3-0.

Despite the loss there was still some bright spots for the Lady Lakers.
"Stephanie Muldoon played a great match for us today," said Lady Lakers assistant coach David Bitonti.

"She played hard, smart and physical and left everything on the field. Notable mention should go out to Julia McAvoy and Stephanie Kirkham who did a great job on defence."

The Lady Lakers are in 7th place with 8 points.
