Lady Lakers win 'Fair Play' Award

Out of the medal round at the Women's National Volleyball Championships in North Vancouver, the Lady Lakers moved on to the consolation round.

Out of the medal round at the Women's National Volleyball Championships in North Vancouver, the Lady Lakers moved on to the consolation round.

The Lakers playing their final game of the weekend dominated Mount Allison taking three straight sets Saturday.

Game 1 Nipissing over Mount Allison 25 - 19
Game 2 Nipissing over Mount Allison 25 - 19
Game 3 Nipissing over Mount Allison 25 – 23

Lynn Danis was named game MVP.

The Lakers also captured the ‘Fair Play’ award while Megan Stacey was named to the ‘All Tournament Team’ all stars.
