Coach Jim Davidson was very pleased with the team’s performance.

“The girls played some of the best defense we have played all year," said Davidson.

"Some of the new offenses that we used proved to be very effective."

He also mentioned that although there was no all-star team named, Erin Sallie would have been an excellent candidate for tournament MVP.

The Bears continue league action on Tuesday Nov. 1 at Chippewa. Game time is 4:30.
