The West Ferris Junior Lady Trojans evened their best of 3 championship series at 1-1 as they edged the Chippewa Raiders 30-28 at the Raiderdome on Tuesday night.
The Trojans made a valiant comeback by outscoring the Raiders 12-2 in the third quarter after being down 21-10 at halftime.
Kally Watmore and Lucy Millar each had 6 points for the Lady Trojans. Jen Leckie finished with 5 points.
The Raiders were led by Caitlin Hebert who finished with a game high 10 points. Kirsten Cantin had 9 points in the loss.
The two teams will play the deciding game of the NDA Junior Girls Basketball season on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at West Ferris.
