The Junior A North Bay Trappers are gearing up for an exciting homestand after playing 4 of their first 5 games on the road to start the 2009-2010 NOJHL season.

On Friday, September 25 the Junior A Trappers will battle the Kal Tire Sudbury Jr. Wolves, game time is 7:30 p.m. The Junior 'A' Trappers close the weekend with a game on Sunday September 27 against the Temiscaming Royals, game time is 7:00 p.m.

Jr. A Trappers head coach Ian Swalucynski knows getting points from a pair of teams below them in the standings early on is key.

“It's huge for us," said Swalucynski Thursday morning.

"We might have more points than them but we don’t take anything for granted. We just continue to improve our game plan and work hard. We've had a good week of practice and it will be nice to play 2 home games."

Meet the Jr. Trappers

On Saturday, fans can come out and meet the North Bay Junior A Trappers at the Gold Fleet Suzuki dealership at 10 Maplewood avenue (next to Casey's).

The team will be signing autographs and speaking with fans from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
