Habs Skating Consultant to work with Youth Hockey Development

Youth Hockey Development, a local hockey school, has teamed up with Paul Lawson who is presently the skating consultant for both the Montreal Canadiens and their farm team the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Youth Hockey Development, a local hockey school, has teamed up with Paul Lawson who is presently the skating consultant for both the Montreal Canadiens and their farm team the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Lawson will be running 2 skating camps on July 20th and 21st here in North Bay. In the past 4 years Paul has worked in the Montreal Canadiens Organization with their top prospects such as P. K. Subban and Tom Pyatt as well as Stanley Cup Winner Kent Huskins.

Subban and Pyatt were an important part of the Canadiens playoff run this spring. Huskins played all 82 games this year with the San Jose Sharks as well as all 15 playoff games.

Lawson will be joined on the ice by current Nipissing Lakers forward Sam Hopewell who works with him in the off season.

They will host a two-hour session on each day with a group of 25 Kids in each session. The First 25 registered in each age group will participate. There will be a short Power Point presentation before the group hits the ice along with a few minutes for some questions.
