The Guardian Pharmacy/North Bay District Girls Hockey Association Family Skate was a big hit with Association members on Wednesday night.
The Guardian Pharmacy/North Bay District Girls Hockey Association Family Skate was a big hit with Association members on Wednesday night.

There was no age discrimination as members from our PreNovice divisions, all the way through to our Midget division, were in attendance with most of the Midget AA girls attending.

The atmosphere was full of the holiday spirit with Christmas music playing and lots of laughs being shared.

What would a Christmas skate be without a visit from Santa Claus? Santa Claus showed up and visited with all the children and left them each with a Christmas treat.

Members who brought a friend had their names put in for a draw. Santa Claus picked the lucky ticket and Association member Jasmine Higgins, along with her friend Kelsey Hallett, each left Memorial Gardens with an early Christmas present, a stick donated by Source for Sports.

Team attendance award was given to the Peewee Guardian Angels who had 11 of their 16 players come and join us for the Christmas festivities.

Food Donations were brought to the Gardens and will be brought in to the Food Bank.

Guardian Pharmacy and the North Bay District Girls Hockey Association would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday.
