The Guardian Angels Girls' Bantam Hockey Team won the Gold medal in Huntsville last weekend.
The team fought hard to defeat the Almaguin Gazelles in a 1-0 shootout win for the championship.
Players on the team include Brittany Nieman, Brianne Nieman, Stephanie Winterburn, Maddy Winterburn, Jayden Gillies, Jenna Humphries, Derica Lafrance, Riahan Shunk, Morgan Menard, Nicole Paquet, Brittany Denomme, Kaedyn Felske, Amber Mathias, Sabrina Hoffman, Brittany Stitt, Julia Moore and Ariel Nakogee. The coaching staff include Chris Nieman, Rosie Winterburn, Jayme Hoffman, Dave Humphries and Manager Heide Paquet. Congratulations Girls!
