POWASSAN, ON - Former Midget AAA Trappers forward Nathan McLeod scored three times to lead Team Green to a 7-2 victory over Team White in the Powassan Voodoos first ever Green and White Intersquad game at the Powassan Sportsplex on Monday afternoon.

Former Abitibi Eskimos forward Aaron Sullivan scored twice for Team Green, while singles came off the sticks of Carter Forth and Tyler Gervais-Rolfe.

North Bay products Andrew DeMarco and Bo Peltier replied for Team White in the loss, each scoring in the first period.

Voodoos head coach Scott Wray is impressed with the level of competition so far at training camp.

"The guys have responded well to my drills and have kept a great pace for the first three days," said Wray.

"Our Green-White game had some surprises in it but I think the true measuring stick will be our exhibition games. I am really looking forward to seeing how our young guys respond to a physical fast paced game."

The Voodoos will play their first ever game in team history on Wednesday afternoon when they entertain the Cochrane Crunch in NOJHL pre-season action.  Puck drop is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.
