Bulldogs defensive end/linebacker Anthony Gauthier was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after an impressive defensive performance in the Bulldogs 20-16 win over the Kingston Privateers last weekend in Kingston.
In that contest Gauthier recorded 7.5 tackles, had a batted ball and forced a fumble against Kingston.
The Bulldogs are back on the field this Saturday when they travel to Sault Ste. Marie to visit the defending champion Soo Steelers.
